About me:  I was trained in Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design in NYC and have worked for many years in the industry.  I have owned my own boutique in NYC, designed for other boutiques and have had a custom clothing business making everything from leather apparel and bags, to Western shirts, belly dance costumes, swimsuits, wedding gowns, and more.  I have also been a designer for the major luggage company and a pattern maker for the major active sports wear company.  You get the benefit of all this experience in the doll clothes that you get from me.

Going Green!  I’m trying to create an eco-friendly business using the three “R’s” - reduce, reuse, and recycle. I purchase wind energy from my local utility and all the lighting in my studio is either from fluorescent fixtures overhead or lamps with compact fluorescent light bulbs. These are now available for as little as $1 each and the light quality is much better than a few years ago. Turning off machines, lights, and the computer when not in use also help reduce electric usage. I use fans for cooling in the summer along with shading the sunny windows on hot days, and have separate heat for the studio so that it can be turned off when not in use. I use paper for printing and envelopes for shipping that are made from recycled paper and that are recyclable. When possible, I reuse packing peanuts, bubble wrap, and boxes.
